We are based in Germany and process personal data in accordance with applicable European and German data protection laws.

2. Data We Collect

When you subscribe to our waitlist, we collect only the following personal data:

  • Email address — used solely to notify you when the game is about to be released.

We do not collect any other personal data through the waitlist form. We do not use tracking pixels, cookies, or analytics on the waitlist page.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

The legal basis for processing your email address is your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You provide this consent by checking the consent checkbox and submitting the subscription form. You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

4. Purpose of Processing

Your email address is used exclusively to send you a notification when the game is about to be released. We will not use your email for any other purpose, including marketing, newsletters, or promotional content.

5. Data Sharing and Recipients

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your personal data to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Your data is stored on servers operated by us and hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. Hetzner acts solely as our hosting provider and does not process your personal data for its own purposes.

To send you the release notification email, we use Twilio SendGrid as our email service provider. SendGrid acts as a processor under Article 28 GDPR and processes your email address solely for the purpose of delivering that email on our behalf, in accordance with our instructions and under contractual obligations to protect your data. SendGrid does not use your data for its own purposes.

Where necessary, other technical service providers acting as processors under Article 28 GDPR may have access to personal data solely for the purpose of providing infrastructure or maintenance services, and are contractually required to protect your data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your email address until the game has been released and you have been notified, or until you unsubscribe, whichever occurs first. After the release notification has been sent, we will delete your email address within a reasonable period, unless you create an account with us.

7. Your Rights Under GDPR

As a data subject, you have the following rights under the GDPR:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR) — you may request information about the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) — you may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) — you may request deletion of your personal data.
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) — you may request that we restrict the processing of your data.
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) — you may receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR) — you may object to the processing of your data.
  • Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR) — you may withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77 GDPR) — you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or alteration, in accordance with Article 32 GDPR. These measures include encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data is processed on servers operated by us and hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH within Germany. We do not transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Should this change in the future, we will ensure an adequate level of protection in accordance with Articles 44–49 GDPR, for example through Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Children's Privacy

Our waitlist is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
